Great tasting bedtime protein (beware some are caffeinated)
The latte flavour is really good. Mixability can be improved as it sticks to the wall of the bottle, but it is to be expected for casein. Strange that there is a latte flavour with caffeine for a bedtime protein. Overall great for breakfast.

Flavourful casein but beware of caffeine
This casein is the most flavourful I have tried. Doesn’t have the chalky taste of typical casein. But beware of latte as it contains caffeine. Strange to have such a flavour for a bedtime protein. Perhaps there should be a clearer warning on it before purchasing.

Unflavoured is for the braves only
Like the tittle, I learnt it the hard way, might not for everyone, suggest first purchase with flavour protein. Goes Well With: Low fat milk, honey, cold water.

The 1 supplement I need
If I am only allowed to purchase 1 supplement, it would be the casein protein. I got the unflavored version and it works very well for me. Taste wise it is fine but the main reasons I got it is because 1) I do not like artificial sweeteners and the other ingredients (rubbish) that goes into flavored ones 2) there is more protein per serving. More of what you need, less of what you don't need. Effects wise, my muscles actually appear fuller and rounder as compared to just consuming whey. I saw another review stating this effect and as 'bro-sciencish' as it sounds, it truly works that way. I would take casein over whey any day. As a whole, I only care about price and performance. Taste and mix-ability aren't important to me which is why the unflavored version has been a go to for me for a few years now. But if that is important for you, the protein foams a lot when you mix it. One way to counteract that effect is to mix it with milk or another protein source like whey. Nothing to take home with the taste but it is still drinkable.

I got the strawberry and it’s awesome with oat/almond milk. I feel that it’s slightly too think to mix with water and didn’t taste good but after mixing it with my oat milk, it was great!

Unexpectedly good
I bought the unflavored version and I am surprised that it actually taste pretty good! It basically tastes like milk but watered down. I bought a flavored milk protein as well so I tend to mix them to satisfy my sweet tooth. The upside about the unflavored version is that you are actually getting more protein. Flavored versions, especially chocolate, have less protein per serving. A balance between cost effectiveness and the taste is to simply buy a flavored and unflavored variant! On a whole, I feel that casein is a lot more effective compared to whey. I have been consuming whey all this time (5 years) but my muscles feel a lot fuller after switching over to casein (my diet and training remained mostly unchanged). Sounds bro-science(ish) but after doing my own research, I learned that casein is actually superior to whey in terms of its overall effectiveness in building muscle. It is definitely a little pricier but it is worth it. Alternatively, you can wait for their large discounts before making the purchase to increase your savings! My 2 cents
Bought the unflavoured version and it has been a great help when I am trying to hit my protein intake for the day. Unlike what other reviews may say, it does not mix very well with water only. Currently what worked well for me was mixing 400ml of water, 1-1.5 tablespoons of honey (sometimes up to 2 tbsp if I worked out hard that day), and 1.5 scoops of the protein powder. The other method is to simply add casein and whey with water and they mix pretty well without many leftover lumps after shaking. Goes Well With: 1. Water & Honey 2. Whey Protein Powder

a thick mix
casien has helped, particularly in the recovery phase. I am not too sore in the mornings to go to the gym again. you need to give it a good mix though does take a while. 1 1/4 cup dosage is a pain though. Goes Well With: water
