Good Macros, Bad Mixing

Soy protein has decent serving, but requires alot of water to dissolve and mix. If used with the suggested amount of liquid (250-300ml), it becomes mashed potatoes instead. Perhaps this blend does not require the emulsifier to thicken it. However, if one were to use this in baking or cooking, the thick texture would definitely come in handy. P.S If you pretend this (Unflavoured) is zero sugar soy milk , it makes it easier to drink.

Goes Well With:

Water, or use it to bake/cook with (Especially for the unflavoured one)

It gets your Macros but tastes like mud

Ordered 2.5kgs of this and proceeded to add 2 scoops to a 300ml shaker bottle. Shaked for about a minute or so but that didn't work, because when I opened my bottle cap I was met with protein mud sludge. If your built diff you can swallow this (especially for the macros) but if you want a nice drink I suggest another protein variant

Goes Well With:

Diarrhoea medicine

Tried the Soy Protein Isolate

The taste is pretty on point and the macros and price for it is pretty good. I would say the only thing to highlight before getting this protein powder is that the mixability, like others have mentioned it a little poor and the powder cannot be mixed with anything other than water. I tried it with soy milk and the solution ended up being an overly thick substance that was honestly hard to swallow. However Water will suit this mix well as the liquid isn't thick to begin with.

Water only

Pretty good, imo

This was my first time trying out the smooth choc soy isolate, and I must say I was pretty impressed. I really like the subtle chocolatey taste of this. It doesn't taste too artificial or have an unpleasant aftertaste, unlike some other protein powders I've tried. They could improve a little on the mixability of this. Even after shaking it vigorously with water, a few lumps were left in it (although not overly unpleasant tasting). I really like the nutritional content, too; it contains more protein in a single serving than most of their other vegan protein powders. Super value-for-money, too, if you buy it on sale or using a discount code!!

Goes Well With:

Oatmeal Bakes (cakes, cookies, muffins, baked oats etc.) Smoothies/shakes

A pleasant surprise

I read so many reviews about how the vegan range is terrible blah blah, but I went ahead and ordered because MyProtein is my trusted brand. I must say it is a pleasant surprise that this protein is much better than I expected. The taste was pretty decent and the mixability is acceptable, even though it could be improved further. I didn't even use a shaker bottle, I just simply mixed with my soy milk in a cup and stir with a spoon. Overall, this is a really decent product. If not for the slight inconvenience with the mixability, it would have been a 5-star from me. Well done MyVegan/MyProtein!!!

Salted Caramel rox but....

Usually go with whey but decided to try soy isolate and these are my points i wish to share #1 Having read earlier reviews, this flavour seems a hit and i concur that taste wise it is easy to go down ^^ #2 The only reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars is due to mixability! Compared to whey, this formula/protein is way harder to mix with fluids! As some reviewers have stated the issue becomes more prominent with fluids more viscous than water i.e milk, juices, etc #3 what worked for me for mixing : add generous amount of iced water 1st and stir fairly vigorously then add in you mix of choice (mine is soy or skimmed milk) and its all good! All said - enjoy the product and would order again but would take a bit more effort mixing it up ^^

Smooth Chocolate is pretty smooth

I'm not exactly the biggest chocolate fan, but this is quite nice. Smooth milky chocolate but not overpowering. It mixes well with water and ice. And even if you leave it on for a while, it doesn't 'sit' like other shakes, which is amazing. Also, it isn't too sweet which is great. I am genuinely impressed.

Soy Protein Isolate Strawberry Review

I scooped some into my shaker bottle and poured water into the bottle. I looked inside, and the water literally slid off the powder and the whole scoop-shaped chunk of powder had floated up with the water being poured in?? So so hard to dissolve, very much prefer the vegan blend which mixes so much easier.

Goes Well With:

Don't mix too much powder with too little water, you might asphyxiate. Recommended to not drink with anything thicker than water.

Like a tasty chocolate smoothie

Any protein shake needs to fulfill 3 simple factors: Taste, mixability and protein amount. And Soy Protein Isolate fulfills that on all 3 fronts. 1. The Chocolate Smooth flavour tastes good. Subtle and not overpowering. Not sure why other reviewers say it tastes bad. 2. It dissolves to become a smoothie consistency and while it may not to that soluble, adding more water will solve it. 3. It has 27g of protein per serving, more than many other non-vegan products. Highly recommended.
