1. Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. This beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours, and no later than 6 hours, following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.
2. Vitamin B6 and B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
3. Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
We recommend consuming 2 Energy Elite gels during exercise, up to 3 times daily.

Tasty affordable electrolyte gel
I was unsure how many gels are in one package as the original listing has no such information, and the reviews did not mention this either. So, I was a bit reluctant to buy it but gave it a try. Nutrition-wise, it has what it has, so its effects should be obvious. Anyway, there are 20x50g sachets in one box resulting in a 1kg parcel in your mailbox ;)

Took 3 of these on my 28km run a few days ago. The gel packaging is rather hard to tear off during runs (takes an average of 2 attempts on both ends during runs. Mind the sweat and all) but I was impressed by the taste and efficacy. I bought 3 boxes and I will definitely get it again.Goes Well With:Water!
